More people, thirty to forty percent of them women, are buying scooters these days because of the high price of gas. ExTreme Toys Inc. on Manchester says they're flying out of the store and the buyers aren't typical. Usually they sell to students and young people. However, owner Jeff Bach told me about a ninety three year old man as well as all the women taking advantage of this gas saving vehicle.
